Let me tell you a bit about myself and Shesnaps Photography. This has been my full-time career since March 2011. It was a leap of faith, but I'm so pleased that I did it. I opened my studio in June 2017. It's in Compstall Mill in Stockport, overlooking Etherow Country Park.
I specialise in family portraits and also personal branding images for businesses, especially for their social media presence. I also photograph products for local business to use for Amazon and Etsy.
I'm based in Stockport, but I also work in Cheshire and Derbyshire. I trained as a journalist and worked for both Granada TV and the BBC in Manchester for many years, so I use these skills to tell your story.
Away from the camera, I'm the mum of two teenagers, I have a grumpy, free-loading cat and I love dogs ...especially Golden Retrievers. I sing in a New Mills performance choir, which I love and I enjoy cycling along the nearby canals - but I don't do hills!
I'm very fortunate to do what I do - I get to spend time with wonderful people of all ages, who have a lasting reminder of their time in my studio, what a privileged position to be in.
