Hi I am Julie and I created The Wee Mud Hut 3 years ago. I transformed a huge industrial unit into a pottery workshop and threw myself into it!
It was an amazing place that offered tuition, group sessions, parties, events and a place to be creative and messy, with clay. By the end of year one I made the decision to relocate and downsize The wee mud hut. Some people were surprised and some were disappointed as it had the potential to grow and expand. However it wasn't right for me. I had no time to create or for family and I wanted to change things to suit me better.
So I created a literal 'wee' mud hut in my garden where I create handmade functional ceramics. I also run pottery workshops for all ages and abilities at various locations so I continue to share my passion for pottery.
And now I'm a queen!!!! My drag obsessed family are delighted!
