Rachel Hayward is the #Queenof Funding and owns Ask the Chameleon Ltd, supporting growing businesses through identifying and writing funding applications, grants, tenders and business awards.
We work with ambitious SME’s and charities to agree, plan, and provide high quality written applications to enable them to grow. With a strong track record across a range of business sectors include technology, professional services, creative services, education, manufacturing across the East Midlands but predominantly in Derby, Derbyshire and Leicester, we have secured £35m in funding and secured prestigious awards including the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, healthcare awards (national level) and local business awards.
Our aim it to provide applications and submissions that strongly reflect you want to achieve – translating your words into submissions that match the awarding bodies’ strict criteria.
A particular USP is our commitment to work with small organisations and charities who would not usually have the resources to identify and apply for funding to support their operations – with great success.
In 2018 we were selected to be one of the #SmallBiz100, one of only five Derbyshire organisations as part of the Small Business Saturday campaign, and more recently the FSB East Midlands Micro Business of the Year.
Personally, Rachel is the Chair of Annabel's Angels, a small vibrant charity supporting local people undergoing cancer treatment, providing a small financial grants, Area Lead for the FSB for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire nd an Associate Lecturer at the University of Derby's School of Business.
