Curbside Gaming is a small family run business based in Newport, Shropshire. The creator and owner is me; Darren Smith. Before Curbside Gaming I had served in the British Army for 20 years but unfortunately due to injuries I was medically discharged. I served as an Army Welfare Worker providing counselling to soldiers and their families. I was lucky to specialise in parenting support and used my passion in this area to support families with children to help them get the best out of family life. I am married to my wife and business Partner Becky, who is a Teaching Assistant in a local Primary School and we have 3 children, a boy and 2 girls aged 19, 16 and 12 at the time of writing this. My son who is the eldest, is also a partner in the business and brings with him the gaming expertise needed to run a fun and exciting gaming party.

We created Curbside Gaming because as parents we were always looking for a party that came to your door, was something different to the norm and wasn’t dependent on weather either. For years we struggled but with Curbside Gaming we think we’ve got the perfect party solution. Don’t believe me, well give us a try. I wouldn’t trust my children with just anyone, which is why we are all DBS checked, first aid trained and attended Safeguarding Children training. All this ensures that we can be trusted to provide your children with an amazing party in a safe environment.
