The Dandy Lions Apothecary was set up by Jonathan and Paul in 2013, initially we focussed on creating our range of mens beard care products starting with a moustache wax, beard oil and beard balm. From these beginnings a desire to create the perfect shampoo bar for mens facial hair led to a foray into soap making which has resulted in an exquisite and ever changing range of handmade and all natural soaps and shampoo bars. We have also developed a range of moisturising facial oils for both women and men along with a choice of hand creams and our sublime PawRestore solid hand balm. More recently we have taken our of love of fragrance and fragrance blending further and introduced our own range of candles.
Initially we set the business up working from our home in Norfolk, England. We were lucky enough to move out to Spain in 2017 and now produce all of our products from our Cortijo here in the Almanzora valley.
As part of our move to Spain we took part in the Channel 4's TV programme a New Life in the Sun. This was an exciting, if daunting experience and we hope that you might enjoy watching us settle into our new surroundings.
