Where It All Began...
Born in 1998, it was at the age of nine that Scarlett watched the Phantom of the Opera and fell in love with the music. She immediately started singing the songs of the musical around the house and a lovely voice was discovered.
Scarlett dabbled in a few singing lessons and her early voice was compared to having a Ferrari but not yet knowing how to drive it. It wasn’t until she was thirteen that she started her classical vocal training and with help from her singing teacher she started to gain confidence and achieved success in competitions and music festivals around the country.
In 2012, Scarlett won Cheadle’s Got Talent, The Big One Talent on Stage, Dee’s Got Talent and sang to the Area Finals of Open Mic UK. Getting down to the last 150 finalists from over 10,000 competitors was an achievement to be proud of. She was the winner of the prestigious Rose Bowl 2012 in Fleetwood and won the title of Bowdon Young Singer of The Year 2013.
Scarlett has been very lucky to be able to perform at some fantastic venues, including the LG Arena Birmingham, Chester Racecourse – where she performed a solo set to a crowd of 3000 - and recently performed an exclusive concert at The Sage in Gateshead, with soprano Rebecca Newman.
Scarlett has been described as a natural performer with considerable vocal potential and the makings of a fine voice. She also has a charming demeanor and humility that is winning over many fans both in the UK and overseas. She hopes to be able to fulfil her dream of having a career in music and is working hard to build up her skills and repertoire, alongside her education. Fittingly, Scarlett is now a patron of the charity 'Educate the World'.
Scarlett would like to invite you to join her on social media, where all the latest news is posted first. You can join her official music page and also her Facebook fan group, as well as her Twitter, YouTube and Wordpress Blog.
