I'm Helena, the maker behind Daisy Frames, wife to Chappers, mum to 2 boys and a girl and a big chocolate lab!
Back in 2010 I struggled to find a valentines gift for my husband so taking inspiration from our wedding stationary I'd made a few years before, I created one myself - a framed picture of paper hearts. I received so many lovely comments about it that I was inspired to make more, set up Daisy Frames and I was thrilled to make my first sales shortly after.
My skills and passion have always been in Art and Design since a young age - sculpture in particular, but I took a different career path for a good few years after education. Whilst on maternity leave with my middle son I had the inspiration for designing and creating further personalised keepsakes and framed art for children's bedrooms.
In 2013 my husband and I made the huge and very exciting decision to hand in my notice from my part time day job in IT and give Daisy Frames my full attention. I work mainly in the evenings, often late into the night once our 3 young children are tucked up into their beds.
My product range has expanded over the years and continues to do so. growing from framed paper and fabric art to hand cut wooden keepsakes, hand embroidered hanging hoops and wire work. I thoroughly love creating my products for those looking for something special and a bit different.
